Raw Video: Free Tibet Protest in Beijing

Only two days before the opening ceremony of the has-long-been-expected Beijing Olympic Games, the Bird Nest witnessed this scene.

It was operated by two British students, one's from Edinburgh, the other one's from Cambridge.

Honestly, being a Chinese has spent 6 years in Beijing after enterred Uni, I felt been disgusted of this "misbehaviour" which was very embarrasing to many Chinese people following the unpleasant events happened all along the route in which the Olympic Torch had been relayed in.

But, again, to be more honest, I would like to salut these two students for there great bravery for doing such a risk again the overwhelming security control in Beijing. I would like to say, given there has never been all these pro-tibet protests or the potential ones expected to happen during the Games, I would even never think about this very much. And I bet the same would be to my many fellow Chinese.

I still remember the days in March, when the torch relay was disturbed so much in London and Paris, a feeling of Patriotism came out of my mind so natually, partially because of an influence from my peer Chinese friends. But when things cooled down, and when I looked back, a questions was asked to myself again and again: wasn't it a very irrational behavior? Did I really know what happend in Tibet? Did I know what the communist ruler did in Tibet? Did I have the reason why Tibet should be a part of communism China fot granted? NO!

Things sometimes should be thought twice. In one hand, I am really exited for the Games will begin in about 15 hours; in the other hand, I am wondering will be another showcase for the party to tell the world how successful it is?

Basically, I'm feeling ill indeed. All I need to do is to read more, get to know more, get more objective ideas, instead of PROPAGANDA.
